Dev Diary #44

Hello everyone!

We’re back with another update on the progress of the Underground Garage. We can feel your excitement revving up like a turbocharged engine, and we have a lot to share with you today!

We understand the importance of a seamless experience when you start your adventure in Underground Garage. We are actively working on creating a user scenario for when you, the player, either start a new game or want to join another game/world. This will include the ability to select a profile, create a new profile, and manage your profiles.

In our previous update, we showcased the 2D maps of slums. Now, we’re thrilled to give you a sneak peek at how these environments are shaping up. The focus for this update is the Slums area – this part of the city is gritty, authentic, and the perfect backdrop for the street racing underworld.

We also played around with light on the scenes. Here you can see Deb’s garage in the evening:

From a narrative perspective, we’re putting the pedal to the metal on creating the list of essential animations for the city’s inhabitants. This will ensure the city feels alive and bustling with activity. From animated mechanics to street racers and pedestrians, expect a lively atmosphere!
